คือ การฝึกอบรมให้คนในกรมฯ ช่วยกันประหยัดพลังงาน รีไซเคิล และลดของเสียในที่ทำงาน ซึ่งถือเป็นการประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายภายในองค์กร เช่น การปิดไฟ ปิดแอร์ ปิดหน้าจอคอมพิวเตอร์ ปิดก็อกน้ำ เมื่อไม่มีการทำงานหรือใช้งาน การพิมพ์งานด้วยกระดาษทั้ง 2 หน้า การใช้ยานพาหนะร่วมกัน ฯลฯ
Green Workplace. This component involves training personnel to save energy, recycle materials and reduce wastes at the workplace in an attempt to save costs. Such an effort may be materialised, for instance, by switching off electricity, air-conditioners, computer monitors or even water taps when not in use, making use of 2 sides of paper and carpooling.
